Kweli Wallet App – Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Kweli Wallet! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Kweli Wallet App (“App”), operated by TheChain . By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms. If you are using the App on behalf of a business entity, you confirm that you have the authority to bind the entity to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

To use the Kweli Wallet App, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old or of legal age in your jurisdiction.
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information.

3. Account Registration and Security

  • You must create an account using a valid email address and phone number.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for any breach of these Terms.

4. Services Provided

The Kweli Wallet App offers the following services:

  • Digital Wallet Services: Store, send, and receive digital currencies or fiat currencies.
  • Payment Processing: Make payments to third parties.
  • Transaction History: View past transactions.
  • Peer-to-Peer Transfers: Send and receive money from other Kweli users.

Kweli reserves the right to modify or discontinue any service without prior notice.

5. Fees and Charges

  • Certain transactions may incur fees, which will be clearly disclosed before you complete the transaction.
  • Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
  • You are responsible for any taxes arising from your use of our services.

6. User Obligations and Prohibited Activities

You agree to use the Kweli Wallet App in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You must not:

  • Use the App for illegal purposes, including money laundering, fraud, or financing terrorism.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
  • Attempt to disrupt or compromise the security of the App.
  • Violate intellectual property rights or use the App to distribute harmful software (e.g., viruses or malware).

7. Transaction Limits and Verification

  • We may impose daily, weekly, or monthly limits on transactions for security and regulatory reasons.
  • You may be required to verify your identity (“KYC”) by providing additional documentation.
  • We reserve the right to decline or reverse transactions that violate our Terms or applicable laws.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

  • All content in the App, including logos, text, software, and graphics, is owned by or licensed to Kweli and is protected by intellectual property laws.
  • You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written consent.

9. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of your information as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kweli will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
  • Kweli does not guarantee that the App will be free from errors or uninterrupted.
  • You agree that your use of the App is at your own risk.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kweli, its affiliates, directors, officers, and employees from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms.
  • Your misuse of the App.
  • Any disputes with third parties related to transactions through the App.

12. Termination and Suspension

  • Kweli may suspend or terminate your account without notice if you violate these Terms or applicable laws.
  • You may terminate your account at any time by contacting customer support.
  • Upon termination, you must withdraw any remaining balance from your wallet, subject to any applicable fees.

13. Changes to the Terms

Kweli reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
